FNAF SHRINE

I didn’t grow up with FNAF as a main influence, and I never had a deep admiration for it. Let’s say that, like many people at the time of the release of the first games, I love FNAF in an unconditional way, despite the hatred I also feel toward it. I was never the kind of person to take interest in the mascot horror direction the franchise became, for example with Security Breach, even though I grew attached to characters like Sundrop or Rockstar Bonnie. Yet, these characters don’t really have anything that feels very “FNAF.” I think I would have genuinely loved them if they belonged to a series that was initially meant to be nothing more than a cheap product, like its game was. I was lucky that my first experience with the saga was the most beautiful one: I had never been exposed to any external influence or commentary. Someone I knew had the first four games on his computer, alongside CS:GO. I was young, and the old animatronics had always appealed to my eye,so, watching him naively, I wanted to try it myself. My first experience with Five Nights at Freddy’s was the first game.
